Mid-Columbia Duck Race
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008It’s time for the Great Mid-Columbia Duck Race again! Once a year 40,000 little rubber duckies are dumped from a cargo container into the Columbia River in the hopes of winning fantastic prizes. The race is put on by the Tri-Cities Rotary clubs. The money raised during this race benefits local charities, so you can’t go wrong there. As a member of Richland Rotary I am a ducky adoption counselor as well as help set up the race. This is a community event that you can definately get behind.
